IPL Series — Round Electro Magnets

Circular electromagnets for plate, slab, and single-part handling. Models range from IPL-1000 (1,000 lb) to IPL-40000 (40,000 lb) at rated plate thickness. Features include fully sealed coil assemblies, replaceable bottom plates, and 100% duty cycle operation.

  • Voltage: 220V DC standard, 110V available
  • Connection: Single or dual cable with quick-disconnect
  • Temperature rating: Standard to 300°F, high-temp to 600°F

IPR Series — Rectangular Magnets

Rectangular electromagnets optimized for bundle, billet, and wide plate handling. Available in lengths from 24" to 120" with multi-zone coil control for balanced lifting of uneven loads across the magnet face.

  • Lift capacity: 3,000 to 50,000 lbs
  • Zone control: 2 or 4 independent zones
  • Applications: Slabs, plate bundles, rail sections

IPS Series — Scrap Magnets

Heavy-duty scrap handling magnets with cast manganese bottom plates and protected coil housings. Designed for the abrasive environment of scrap yards and demolition sites with extended service life and minimal maintenance.

  • Diameter: 30" to 75"
  • Capacity: 1,500 to 7,500 lbs in scrap
  • Options: Cable or hydraulic rotation

IPM Series — Permanent Magnets

Self-contained permanent magnetic lifters requiring no electrical power. Activated by a simple safety lever mechanism. Ideal for flat and round steel in fabrication shops, warehouses, and machine loading applications.

  • Capacity: 330 lbs to 6,600 lbs (150 kg to 3,000 kg)
  • Material: NdFeB rare earth magnets
  • Safety factor: 3:1 minimum

Magnet Controllers & Power Supplies

Impagnettl manufactures matched controller systems for every electro magnet model. Our IPL-CTRL series provides variable voltage output, lift/drop sequencing, and emergency drop protection. Options include pendant control, wireless remote, and PLC integration for automated crane systems.

Spreader Beams & Rigging

Multi-magnet spreader beam systems distribute load across two or four magnets for long material handling. We design and fabricate spreader beams rated for your specific crane capacity and material dimensions, complete with adjustable magnet spacing and anti-sway rigging.

Magnetic Separators

Stationary and suspended magnetic separators remove ferrous contamination from conveyor-fed material streams. Available in permanent and electro models for recycling, mining, and aggregate processing applications.
